No Intellisense showing in the IDE code page? CTRL + SPACE not showing the helpful drop down?
Sometimes this just happens, especially when the code contains errors. Usually, a CodeDOM rebuild (CTRL + SHIFT + B), then a code parse (CTRL + R) will solve the issue.
However, this doesn't always work - even though you are well within your rights to be shown some Intellisense. In that case, try closing and reopening the object. If that gives on joy, try restarting the IDE.
After that, you're on your own.
additional checks/steps may help resolve this issue:
ReplyDelete1- Make sure that AssemblyWriter app setting in the the services web config points to the correct dll ([RoothPath]\Inetpub\Services\bin\AssemblyWriter.dll)
2- Build app object with dependencies
3- Clear CodeDome cache using "Clear CodeDom Cache" menu item in the system menu (top left menu on the titlebar bar)
4- Delete the contents of Inetpub\XML\CodeDom folder (server side codedom cache files for intellisense in the IDE)
